Performer

Lucy Trodd has been improvising since 2005 when she started attending workshops with Ken Campbell. She performed in Decor Without Production with Ken Campbell (Royal Court). Where she met some of her fellow founder members of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. Lucy is a regular in the Annual 50 hour Improvathons with Extempore Theatre.

Currently on tour and in the West End, Showstopper! has been going for over 14 years and in 2016 won an Olivier Award for Best Family and Entertainment show. Hurrah. Lucy has been there for it all.

In 2012 she made her Edinburgh sketch debut as one half of Trodd en Bratt in WELL DONE YOU (now 2 BBC radio 4 series produced by Lucky Giant). And also a short film “A VERY SERIOUS GAME”.

Screen credits include: Sally4Eva (Julia Davis Sky Comedy), Lee and Dean (Channel 4 semi-improvised sitcom) Tripped, Fool Britannia, Doctors, Fast & Loose, Dick and Dom, Attachments.

Radio includes: Well Done You, One Track Minds and Giant’s Bread (and Agatha Christie where she played a Suffragette sculptor who ends up in a crack den in Paris).

If you need a GIANT WOMAN who can SING or a THREATENING ALIEN IN A UNIFORM… then give Lucy a ring (via Jacquie Drewe’s office at Curtis Brown).
